Waste processing plant with a capacity of 48 tons / day is suitable for a settlement with a population of about 10,000 inhabitants, who, with a differentiated collection of waste produce 1.2 kg/day of MSW per inhabitant
CALCULATION OF ECONOMIC BENEFITS
In the technological cycle, thermal
energy. It is used to provide
waste drying process before being fed into
pyrolysis unit, for engine cooling
through a heat exchanger. Produced thermal
energy can be used for
remote heating facilities such as
e.g. sports complexes, swimming pools, residential
houses, greenhouses. For every MW of electricity
0.7 Mcal/hour is produced;
at the rate of 8.400
hours of work per year, will be about 24 Mw/h
production of thermal energy in year 201.600.000 Mcal.
Income from the sale of such
quantities at a price of 0.05 € per kcal will be:

CALCULATION OF INCOME FROM THE PRODUCED HEAT ENERGY
What do we get in the process of using
plant processing 2 t/h MSW?
Working in full
the unit generates - 4000 kW/h
electricity.
Annual quantity
produced electricity, based on
8.400 working hours per year, will be
about 4 MW/h, sales revenue
which at a price of 0.30 € per kW will be:

Operating and maintenance costs are deducted from the income.
Wages of personnel involved in the operation of the plant.
The following are withdrawn during the technological process:
• Generation of electricity
• Generation of thermal energy
• Recycling of plastic waste
• Generation of carbon credits
To increase income, it is possible to reuse, for example, water can be used in the technological cycle or supplied to greenhouses, and inert materials are used in road construction.
